Menopause Beyond the Margins
Who gets to be seen as menopausal—and who is erased from the frame? This intergenerational conversation brings together queer, gender-expansive, trans, and formerly incarcerated voices from across the menopausal spectrum to reimagine what menopause looks, feels, and sounds like when those historically cast as “outsiders” are instead honored as originators, shapeshifters, and truth-tellers.
Together, panelists will explore how queerness, yeldership, and narrative defiance disrupt the binary boundaries of menopause, identity, and worth. They’ll name what’s missing, what’s possible, and what becomes visible when the most vulnerable among us are centered as vital guides through this threshold.
This is a conversation about fluidity, futurism, and the radical freedom to name ourselves. Expect laughter, truth-telling, cultural excavation, and expansive redefinitions of menopause that affirm our breath, our stories, and our right to exist—in every form, in every body, and on our own terms.
